Visas can make or break a business trip - or a business deal. As part of our efforts to ensure that our USRBC members' business travel and business plans go smoothly, USRBC conducted a members-only briefing with experienced and knowledgeable senior officials from the Embassy of Russia on what USRBC members need to know regarding current rules of obtaining a business visa to Russia. The speakers provided an overview of current rules and procedures for obtaining a three-year, multiple-entry Russian business visa at all Russian Consulates in the United States. They also addressed other Russian visa types and their duration; invitation letter requirements; expedited visa process; applying via a designated representative; applying from U.S. cities which do not have Russian Consulates; and rules and restrictions for travelers with business and tourist visas. After their presentation, Russian Embassy officials took questions from USRBC members who attended the briefing in person or joined via remote connection.
